RECEPTIONISTS

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.

 

 

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS:  Currently hiring for this position


Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical and surgical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room, ability to obtain a lab sample (urine, blood), able to get vitals and a history on patients, maintain medical records, answer phones, file records and have general knowledge of testing, vaccine and prescription drugs. 

 

 

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Assistants are responsible for animal handling and care, assisting technicians or doctors, assisting up front with clients and pets, bathing pets , cleaning, filling prescriptions, assisting in the boarding kennel as needed, checking clients/patients in and out, answering phones, and placing clients and pets in exam rooms (getting basic vital signs and brief history).

 

 

KENNEL ASSISTANTS

Ward personnel are responsible for animal handling, general boarding care (making the animals comfortable), walking animals, feeding, bathing/brushing, cleaning, waste disposal, laundry and assisting clients with their pets as needed.
