What if I am a client of Lakeside Veterinary Center, and my pet is having an emergency?
As Lakeside Veterinary Center is not an emergency facility, we may not be equipped to treat your pet's medical emergency or urgent condition. If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, you can find a list of emergency referrals here.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We are by appointment only. We do not currently accept walk-ins or same day appointments.
What species of animal do you see?
Both of our veterinarians on staff see dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, ferrets, rabbits, and other small mammals. If you're not sure if we see your species of pet, please don't hesitate to give our office a call. We do not see pigs, farm animals, or wildlife.
What should I do if I find an injured wild animal?
We are not able to take in any injured wildlife. If you find a wild animal that is in need of medical assistance, please refer to our wildlife resources page and contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
I am considering euthanasia for my pet. What are my options?
It is never an easy decision to make when you consider end of life services for your pet. Lakeside Veterinary Center does offer euthanasia services for our clients based on our availability, as we want to make the experience as peaceful as possible for you and your pet. However, if you are interested in at-home euthanasia services, we recommend reaching out to Peaceful Passage or Lap of Love.
Do you have pets for adoption?
Lakeside Veterinary Center is not an adoption facility or a shelter. We do not have pets up for adoption. If you are looking to adopt a pet, please contact your local animal shelter, or refer to our resources page.
Does your facility offer boarding?
We do not currently offer boarding for any pet. If you are looking for boarding facilities, please refer to our resources page.
