Dr. Jeffrey L. Rhody, Veterinarian and Owner

Dr. Jeffrey Rhody graduated from the Ohio State University Veterinary College in 1983. After working at practices in Frederick and Baltimore, he opened the Lakeside Veterinary Center in 1988. In 2014, he sat for a rigorous two-day test to become boarded in small mammal practice. To date, he is the only board-certified specialist in small mammal practice in the state of Maryland. Aside from small mammals like rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, and other small mammal patients, he also sees dogs, cats, birds and reptiles (nothing venomous). He has lectured on small mammal subjects to other veterinarians at many conferences, He also gives occasional talks to the students at the Virginia-Maryland of Veterinary College. Often asked what his favorite patient is, his answer is always ‘the next one I see’.
Dr. Daniella Yaakov Lilach, Veterinarian

Dr. Daniella was born in Canada and grew up moving around living in England, the United States, and Israel. She graduated veterinary school in Israel in the year 2000. Dr. Daniella is happily married to a nano-scientist and has a sweet boxer-mix named Sam. When not at work she enjoys cooking, baking, and reading.
